Description

Watergate: Change in History is an exciting expansion to the Watergate board game, designed by Matthias Cramer and released in 2020. This pair of promo cards is easy to learn and adds a new layer of strategy to the game, which is perfect for 2 players looking for a fun and challenging experience. The cards were originally given out at the 2020 Camp Capstone virtual convention, but are now available for all players to enjoy. One card is designed for the Nixon player, while the other is for the Editor player, and they can be used to gain an advantage in the game. When played back-to-back without switching roles, the losing player receives their promo card, which can be used once at any point in the game to turn the tables. The Day After card allows the player to move 1 evidence token 2 steps, while the Meet the Press card moves the momentum token 2 steps. These actions can be game-changers, and players will need to think carefully about when to use them.
