Description

Animagicians is a fast-paced and thrilling card game where you get to become a Dark Seeker, a magician with the power to cage the souls of monsters into crystal shards. Your goal is to become the most powerful Dark Seeker of all time, and to do that, you'll need to gather more power by traveling to the Manor on the Forgotten Hill, where a powerful Lich is rumored to hide. With the ability to play with 1 to 6 players, you can join forces with friends or battle it out alone in a quest to defeat the Lich and claim its Relics. The game is easy to learn, but don't let that fool you - it's full of twists and turns that will keep you on your toes. Each player starts with a hand of Magic Cards, and as the game begins, monsters will appear in front of you, but here's the catch: they'll be chasing the player they're pointing at, not you. You'll need to choose which monsters to defeat, setting spells on the board face down to prevent being caught out when the magic is cast. With the help of Relics, powerful items that give you an extra boost, and Special Cards that can change the state of the game, you'll need to stay one step ahead of your opponents and the monsters to come out on top. Whether you're playing in all vs all mode, Solo Player Mode, or Co-op Mode, the game is designed to be exciting and unpredictable, with three unique playing modes to suit all kinds of players. As you play, you'll get to explore the world of Animagicians, with its richly detailed characters, each with their own backstory and special powers. With ten unique Character Cards to choose from, each with its own strengths and weaknesses, you'll find that each game is different, and you'll need to adapt your strategy to win. The game ends when a player defeats the Lich with one of its Special Relics, or when a player collects 10 Souls by defeating monsters. With its simple rules and fast gameplay, Animagicians is a game that's perfect for playing with friends or family, and its short playtime of 15 to 30 minutes means you can fit in a game or two whenever you like. Published in 2017, Animagicians has been designed by Elena Barrios and Alex del Valle, and with its unique blend of hand management, push your luck, take that, and variable player powers, it's a game that will keep you coming back for more.
