Description
Imagine being invited to a remote mansion in the mountains, only to find yourself in the middle of a murder mystery. In Witness Night, a game designed by Kuru Shibue and published in 2019, you and your friends take on the roles of guests trying to figure out who among you is the killer. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you'll be diving into the action in no time. Each player starts by drawing a character card, and then a second card is passed around the table, with each player keeping one and passing the other until everyone has a card - except for one card that ends up in the "guest room", a mysterious and potentially crucial piece of the puzzle. As you discuss and negotiate with each other, you'll need to use your wits to uncover the truth. With hidden roles and negotiation at the heart of the game, you'll need to convince your fellow players to vote for the person you think is the killer - or maybe you'll try to throw them off your trail. With a playtime of just 5 to 10 minutes, Witness Night is a quick and thrilling game that's perfect for groups of 3 to 6 players. Will you be able to uncover the identity of the murderer, or will they escape detection? There's only one way to find out - gather your friends and start playing Witness Night.
