Description

Acies is a game of ancient combat that's all about strategy and a little bit of luck. As a card game, it's easy to learn and dive into, with simple rules that get you straight into the action. You'll be drawing units and tactical cards into your hand, which you can then use to outmaneuver your opponent on the battlefield. The battlefield itself is divided into different areas, including the center and flanks, as well as different lines of combat, which adds a fun layer of complexity to the game. As you play units from your hand into the field of battle, you'll need to use your tactical cards to gain an advantage. Combat is resolved using a combination of a unit's combat values and a dice roll, which adds an element of unpredictability to the game. With its unique blend of hand management and dice rolling, Acies is a game that's both challenging and exciting. And the best part? It's free to download and print, so you can get started right away. Whether you're a fan of ancient history or just looking for a new game to try, Acies is definitely worth checking out.
