Description
Age of Empires III: The Age of Discovery is a board game that drops you into the exciting era of exploration and discovery. You'll take on the role of a colonial power seeking to make a name for yourself in the New World. With 2 to 5 players, you'll navigate through three ages, launching expeditions, colonizing regions, and building up your merchant fleet. As you progress, you can develop your economy, construct capitol buildings that give you a unique edge, and even declare war if needed. This 90 to 120 minute game is easy to learn for those familiar with board games, and its mix of area majority, set collection, and worker placement mechanics keeps things engaging. With some simple text to memorize, you can dive right in and start exploring. Originally published in 2007, Age of Empires III: The Age of Discovery remains a thrilling experience, and its Empires: Builder Expansion offers even more ways to enhance your gameplay.
