This expansion introduces a unique playable Apex species that's not a predator, but don't let that fool you - the Therizinosaurus is a force to be reckoned with. With its ability to use carcass cards to devastating effect and deliver severe punishment to attackers, this "veggie-saurus" is a game-changer. The expansion includes 70 new cards, featuring new environment cards like Sand Storm and Forest Fire, as well as new prey and carnivores to hunt, such as Shantungosaurus and Gigantoraptor. Whether you're playing solo or with up to 7 friends, the Therizinosaurus Expansion Deck offers a fresh and exciting way to experience the Apex Theropod Deck-Building Game. With playtime ranging from 45 to 290 minutes, you can dive into a quick match or immerse yourself in a longer, more epic battle. The game's normal complexity makes it easy for board game enthusiasts to learn and jump into the action. Designed by Herschel Hoffmeyer and released in 2015, this expansion is a must-have for fans of the base game, adding a new layer of strategy and excitement to the world of prehistoric creatures.
