Description

Get ready to dive into the underwater world of Aquatica: Duellum, a thrilling board game designed by Ivan Tuzovsky. In this immersive game, you'll take on the role of either a Turtle King or a Squid Queen, vying to unite the ocean under your rule. With a playtime of just 30 to 45 minutes, you can quickly jump into the action, using a combination of action cards and strategic hand management to build your underwater realm. The game's normal complexity makes it easy for board game enthusiasts to learn, and the solo or two-player options mean you can enjoy it with a friend or on your own. As you play, you'll assemble locations on three-layered boards, navigating a dynamic market on a vortex board that adds a new layer of depth to the game. But be careful - the game can end suddenly, either when all players achieve their goals or when one player collects the most crowns, thanks to the tense tug of war mechanic. With its unique blend of card drafting, set collection, and market mechanics, Aquatica: Duellum offers a fresh and exciting experience that's sure to captivate fans of fantasy and nautical-themed games. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or just looking for a fun and challenging experience, Aquatica: Duellum is the perfect choice, and with its 2025 release, you can be one of the first to explore this underwater world.
