Description
Get ready for a thrilling adventure in Ascension: Curse of the Golden Isles, a pirate-themed card game for 2 to 4 players. Released in 2021, this game is part of the popular Ascension series and offers a fun and challenging experience with its deck, bag, and pool building mechanics. Players will embark on a perilous journey to recruit heroes, build constructs, and raid their opponents' treasure to gather the most honor before the game ends. With its normal complexity level, fans of board games will have no trouble learning the rules and diving into the action. The game introduces a new gameplay mechanic, Cursed Treasure, which allows players to collect pairs of tokens to gain valuable runes, power, and more. But beware, the ghostly crew of the Crimson Askara is lurking in the shadows, seeking to reclaim the lost treasures and wreak havoc on your crew. Will you be able to outwit your opponents and the pirates to claim the treasure and emerge victorious?
