Description

Ascension: Alliances is a fresh spin on the classic Ascension deck-building game, introducing a team-based multiplayer format that's perfect for large groups of friends. With support for 4 to 8 players, you can gather a big crew and divide into teams to take on each other in a battle of strategy and skill. The rules are easy to learn, making it simple for new players to jump in and start playing right away. Published in 2017 and designed by Justin Gary and Ben Lundquist, Ascension: Alliances is an expansion that builds on the original game, adding a new layer of excitement and competition. In Ascension: Alliances, players pair up and work together as teams, using their combined strength to take down their opponents. This teamwork allows for the introduction of a new card type: Banners, which give your alliance a boost and provide permanent advantages over your opponents. With hand management and card drafting mechanics, you'll need to carefully plan and strategize with your teammates to build a powerful deck and outmaneuver the other teams. The game is all about finding the right balance between cooperation and competition, as you work together to achieve victory. As a card game set in a fantasy world, Ascension: Alliances is full of magic, monsters, and epic battles. The team-based gameplay adds a whole new level of social interaction and excitement, as you communicate and coordinate with your teammates to take down the opposition. With its easy-to-learn rules and engaging gameplay, Ascension: Alliances is a great addition to any game night, and its support for large player counts makes it perfect for big gatherings and parties. Whether you're a fan of the original Ascension game or just looking for a new and exciting multiplayer experience, Ascension: Alliances is definitely worth checking out.
