Description
Assault on Hoth: The Empire Strikes Back is a classic board game that drops you right into the iconic battle from the Star Wars universe. Released in 1988, this game is easy to learn and plays out in about 90 minutes, making it a great option for a fun night in with a friend. As one of two players, you'll take on the role of either the Imperial forces or the Rebel Alliance, each with your own goals - the Imperials must destroy the Shield Generator, while the Rebels must hold them off until their transports can escape. The game features a hex-based map and uses dice rolling and event cards to add an extra layer of excitement and unpredictability to the battle. With characters like Luke Skywalker and his powerful Force ability, you'll feel like you're right in the middle of the action. The simple rules and straightforward gameplay make it easy to jump in and start playing, and with very little hidden from your opponent, you'll need to use all your strategic skills to come out on top.
