Description
In a distant corner of the galaxy, a new era of freedom is dawning, and it's up to you to shape the future. The Aurora Decree is a chance for newly liberated sectors to create their own destiny, but old rivalries and secrets threaten to derail the process. You'll take on the role of a representative from one of the planets in the sector, navigating the complex web of alliances and agendas to get your voice heard. As you sit down to play with 2 to 6 friends, you'll find that the game rules are simple to learn, but the negotiations and role-playing that follow are anything but. With each turn, you'll introduce new topics for discussion or propose changes that align with your character's goals. But beware - every character has a past, and revelations about their secrets can sway the vote and influence the outcome. The game is designed by Ian Howard and was published in 2023, bringing a fresh take on the science fiction genre. With a playtime of around 60 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to immerse yourself in the world and emerge victorious, or succumb to the intrigue and backroom deals that unfold. As you navigate the intricate dance of negotiation and role-playing, you'll need to use all your skills to build alliances, broker deals, and outmaneuver your opponents. With the fate of the sector hanging in the balance, who will emerge as the leader, guiding the sector into a brighter future? Will it be you, or will your rivals outwit and outplay you? There's only one way to find out - gather your friends, print out the game, and get ready to shape the future of the galaxy in Aurora Decree.
