Description

Azul Duel is a competitive strategic game designed specifically for two players, where you get to decorate the magnificent ceilings of the palace, playing with light and opposites. The game is easy to learn, making it accessible to new players, and with a playtime of 30 to 45 minutes, you can quickly get immersed in the world of Azul Duel. Designed by Michael Kiesling and published in 2025, this game retains the elegance of the original Azul while introducing a new tactical dimension that adds depth to the gameplay. In Azul Duel, you'll draft tiles to complete patterns, but that's not all - you'll also determine the pattern in which the tiles will be placed, adding an extra layer of strategy to the game. With game mechanics like end game bonuses, card drafting, pattern building, set collection, tile placement, and turn order, every move counts. As an abstract strategy and puzzle game, Azul Duel challenges you to think critically and make tactical decisions to outmaneuver your opponent. With its pure and elegant gameplay, Azul Duel is the perfect base game for anyone looking for a fun and competitive experience, and its short playtime makes it easy to fit into your busy schedule.
