Description

Get ready to take to the skies in Ballonrennen, a classic board game from 1977 where 2 to 5 players compete to deliver mail via hot air balloon. The game is easy to learn, but don't let that fool you - the unpredictable winds and challenging navigation will keep you on your toes. Each player controls a plastic balloon that can change altitude, and the goal is to land on specific spots to deliver your cargo. The twist is that the wind changes randomly every turn, so even the best-laid plans can go awry. As you pilot your balloon, you'll need to balance the risks and rewards of flying at different altitudes, taking into account the stronger winds that come with higher elevations. The game's pick-up and deliver mechanics add a fun and challenging layer of strategy, as you try to outmaneuver your opponents and get your mail to its destination first. With a playtime of about 60 minutes, Ballonrennen is a great choice for a fun and exciting game night with friends. Designed by Eric Solomon, this aviation-themed racing game is a unique and entertaining experience that will keep you coming back for more.
