Designed by Jim Krohn and Dean Halley, this 2023 release puts you in the midst of the U.S. First Marine Division's battles for Guadalcanal, where strategy and cunning will be your best allies. With a playtime of 90 minutes and rules of normal complexity, this game is perfect for board game enthusiasts looking for a challenge. The game mechanics, including dice rolling, a hexagon grid, and a modular board, all come together to create an immersive experience that will keep you on the edge of your seat. As you navigate the challenges of war, you'll need to use your wits to outmaneuver your opponent, taking into account the unique suppression mechanic that allows units to accumulate suppression from multiple sources.
