Description
Blue Lagoon is a strategic game where you manage a group of settlers spreading across a newly discovered archipelago. The game is designed by Reiner Knizia and plays out over two phases, exploration and settlement, with each phase offering a unique challenge. You'll expand your presence on the board by adding one new token each turn, either a settler or a village token, aiming to collect resources scattered across the map. With easy-to-learn rules, 2 to 4 players can enjoy Blue Lagoon in just 30 to 45 minutes. The game requires strategic thinking as you place tokens to collect resources, with the goal of scoring points for the sets you've collected. The twist comes in the second phase, where you can only expand from previously played village tokens, adding a layer of complexity to your decision-making. This abstract strategy game is all about making the right connections and collecting the right resources to come out on top.
