Description

Bodyguard Overlord is a unique board game that delves into the world of intelligence gathering and deception during World War II. Set in the months leading up to the Allied invasion of Normandy in 1944, this game simulates the challenges of information gathering and the "fog-of-war" effect, where data is often incomplete, incorrect, or misleading. Players take on the roles of opposing forces, navigating a complex web of information and misinformation to gain an advantage. With its normal complexity rules, Bodyguard Overlord is accessible to experienced board game players, and its 120-minute playtime allows for a deep and immersive experience. Designed by John Prados and Kevin Zucker, this 1994 game is a classic example of a wargame, using dice rolling and a hexagon grid to simulate the uncertainties of war. As a two-player game, Bodyguard Overlord offers a intense and strategic experience, making it a great choice for those looking for a challenging and engaging game.
