Description

Bohnanza: 20 Jahre is a special edition of the classic game that's all about beans, farming, and negotiation. Released in 2017 to celebrate the game's 20th anniversary, it's designed by the renowned Uwe Rosenberg and is just as fun and engaging as the original. In this game, 3 to 5 players take on the role of bean farmers, each starting with a hand of bean cards that they must carefully manage. The twist is that players can't change the order of their cards, so they have to think strategically about which beans to plant and when to harvest them. The gameplay is simple to learn, but that doesn't mean it's easy to master. On each turn, players must plant their first card into one of their fields, and they may choose to plant their second card as well. They can also trade cards with other players, which adds a fun element of negotiation to the game. The new spring bean type introduced in this edition shakes things up by allowing players to draw extra cards when they harvest two of them. This can lead to some exciting and unpredictable moments, as players take turns planting and harvesting their beans to earn the most Talers. With a playtime of just 45 minutes, Bohnanza: 20 Jahre is a great choice for a quick and entertaining gaming session with friends. As players compete to earn the most Talers, they'll need to use their hand management skills to make the most of their cards. They'll also need to negotiate with other players to get the beans they need, all while trying to outmaneuver them to get the best deals. With its unique blend of farming, trading, and negotiation, Bohnanza: 20 Jahre is a game that's sure to delight both new and experienced players. Whether you're a fan of the original game or just looking for a fun and engaging board game to play with friends, this special edition is definitely worth checking out.
