Description

Carcassonne: Castles in Germany is a fantastic expansion that brings a new level of excitement to the classic Carcassonne game. Released in 2015, this expansion is designed for 2 to 6 players and can be played in just 30 to 45 minutes, making it a great addition to your game night. The rules are easy to learn, so you can jump right in and start building your medieval landscape. The expansion consists of six double-sized tiles featuring beautiful German castles, which players can use to add a new dimension to their gameplay. At the start of the game, each player receives one or two castle tiles, depending on the number of players, and can choose to place them instead of a regular tile. When a castle tile is placed, the player can also place a follower on the tile, which can score points like a cloister if it's in the main castle. The castle tiles also have the power to boost the points of completed cities and roads, giving players a fun new way to strategize and maximize their scores. This expansion is part of the popular Carcassonne series, and can be used with several different versions of the base game, including Carcassonne, Carcassonne: 20th Anniversary Edition, and Carcassonne Big Box 7. With its unique tile placement mechanics and area majority/influence gameplay, Carcassonne: Castles in Germany offers a fresh and engaging twist on the classic Carcassonne experience. The expansion's medieval theme and beautiful castle tiles will transport you to a charming German landscape, where you'll compete with your friends and family to build the most impressive and lucrative kingdom. Whether you're a seasoned Carcassonne fan or just looking for a new game to enjoy with your friends, Carcassonne: Castles in Germany is a great choice that's sure to provide hours of entertainment and fun.
