Description

Carcassonne: The Ferries is a small but exciting expansion to the classic Carcassonne game, designed by Klaus-Jürgen Wrede and first introduced in 2012. This expansion is easy to learn and integrates seamlessly into the base game, making it accessible to players of all experience levels. With eight new land tiles that feature roads leading to a lake, players will need to think strategically about how to place their followers and ferries to maximize their score. The ferries add a new layer of complexity to the game, allowing players to connect and disconnect road segments in creative ways. As players draw the new tiles and place them on the board, they'll have the opportunity to extend roads, move ferries, and close off scoring opportunities for their opponents. The game is designed for 2 to 6 players, making it a great option for game nights with friends or family. With its simple yet engaging mechanics, Carcassonne: The Ferries is a great way to breathe new life into the classic Carcassonne game. By combining tile placement and area majority mechanics, players will need to balance short-term gains with long-term strategy, all while navigating the challenges and opportunities presented by the ferries.
