Description

Get ready to shake up your Carcassonne experience with the Snakes and Ladders expansion, a fresh twist on the classic game. This mini-expansion, released in 2024, is designed for 2 to 5 players and can be learned in no time, thanks to its simple rules. In just 30 to 45 minutes, you'll be navigating the medieval landscape, building cities and territories, and competing for area majority and influence. But beware, the scoreboard has been transformed into a snakes and ladders board, where friendly faces will help you climb the ladder to victory, while sneaky snakes will send you sliding back down. As you place tiles, meeples, and score points, you'll need to keep an eye on the scoreboard, where the usual rules apply, but with a thrilling twist. Land on a field with a ladder and you'll get a boost, climbing up to the next rung, while landing on a snake's head will send you tumbling down to the end of its tail. This expansion adds a whole new layer of excitement and unpredictability to the classic Carcassonne gameplay, making it a must-try for fans of the series. With its easy-to-learn rules and fast-paced gameplay, Carcassonne: Snakes and Ladders is the perfect addition to your game night repertoire.
