Description

Get ready to add a new layer of strategy to your Carcassonne games with Carcassonne: The Phantom, a thrilling expansion designed by Klaus-Jürgen Wrede. Released in 2011, this expansion is easy to learn and can be played with 2 to 6 players, making it a great addition to your game nights. With a playtime of just 45 minutes, you can quickly dive into the world of medieval city building and compete to have the most influence over the landscape. The Phantom expansion introduces 6 transparent phantoms in different colors, which can be placed on the board as additional followers, giving you more opportunities to score points and outmaneuver your opponents. The phantoms can be placed on their own or alongside your regular followers, and they always count as a regular follower, making them a powerful tool in your quest for area majority. The best part is that there's no necessary in-game text, so everyone can join in on the fun, regardless of their language. Whether you're playing with the original Carcassonne game or one of its many variants, such as Carcassonne: Hunters and Gatherers or Carcassonne: 20th Anniversary Edition, The Phantom expansion is a great way to mix things up and try new strategies. So gather your friends, choose your phantom, and get ready to build your way to victory in this exciting expansion to the beloved Carcassonne series.
