Description

In the game of Castles, two players compete to build a Kingdom of cards, gathering support from Dukes, Counts, and Barons while attracting Champions and Wizards to their Court. As you rise in power, your Nobles acquire Lands and Serfs, and you'll add a Wife and Heir to your throne, moving slowly toward becoming the most powerful Kingdom in the land. But your opponent is working to undo all you've built, using Minions, Magick spells, and Armies to oppose you. You'll need to Wage War with your Generals and Arms to seal your legacy in stone and emerge victorious. The game is quick to learn but challenging to play, with a fast-paced and fun experience that will keep you on the edge of your seat. A session can be over in as little as 30 minutes, but aggressive play and thoughtful strategy are required to win. Players take turns drawing from a deck of cards, building their Kingdoms while trying to hinder their opponent's progress by waging war or blocking their draws. Striking a balance between building, organizing, blocking, and attacking is key to victory. With its easy-to-learn rules and deep strategy, Castles is a game that will keep you coming back for more, as you try to outmaneuver your opponent and be the first to complete your Kingdom, consisting of 18 total cards in a specific arrangement.
