Description
Get ready to navigate the vibrant stalls of Bangkok's famous Chatuchak market in this exciting board game. In Chatuchak, 1 to 5 players take on the challenge of rearranging market booths to group them by type, such as decoration, clothes, furniture, plants, or food. Each player manages their own section of the market, which is laid out in a 5x6 grid with 29 booths and one empty spot. The goal is to move booths around to create the most efficient groupings, but there's a catch - booths can only be relocated along the same alley, adding a fun layer of strategy to the game. As players move their booths, they're working to achieve specific goals, such as grouping a particular market segment or creating the longest straight path with one type of booth. The first player to reach a goal earns a point, and points can also be earned by overtaking other players or maintaining the lead at the end of the game. With a playtime of just 15 to 30 minutes, Chatuchak is a quick and engaging game that's easy to learn, making it perfect for a fun night in with friends or family. Designed by Corné van Moorsel, Peter Joustra, and Ron van Dalen, and published in 2023, Chatuchak is a great addition to any board game collection, offering a unique and entertaining experience for players of all ages.
