Description
Chicago Express: Narrow Gauge & Erie Railroad Company is an exciting expansion that brings new life to the original Chicago Express game. Designed by John Bohrer, this expansion combines two previous additions, the Wabash Cannonball: Erie Railroad expansion and the Wabash Cannonball: Narrow Gauge Expansion, into one convenient box. With this expansion, 2 to 6 players can dive into the world of train transportation and economic management, learning the rules with ease due to their normal complexity. As players take on the roles of railroad tycoons, they'll engage in auction and bidding mechanics to build their railroad networks and manage their stock holdings. The expansion introduces new components, including orange wooden trains, a narrow gauge repository board, and a range of pieces for the Erie Company, such as brown wooden trains and a company charter board. These additions allow players to explore new routes and strategies, adding depth and variety to the game. With a playtime of 60 minutes, players can expect a fun and challenging experience that's perfect for a game night with friends. The combination of auction, network building, and stock holding mechanics creates a thrilling experience that's all about making smart decisions and outmaneuvering your opponents. As players navigate the world of train transportation, they'll need to balance their economic goals with the need to build and manage their railroad networks. With its engaging gameplay and straightforward rules, Chicago Express: Narrow Gauge & Erie Railroad Company is an excellent addition to the Chicago Express series, and a great way for fans of economic and train-themed games to expand their gaming experience.
