Description

Get ready to strike gold in Chinagold, a thrilling abstract strategy game designed by Günter Cornett. Released in 2004, this game has been delighting players for years with its simple yet engaging rules that can be learned in no time. In Chinagold, two players embark on a treasure hunt, one searching for gold in the mountains and the other in the rivers. The twist is that every prospecting area is simultaneously part of a mountain and a river, adding a layer of complexity to the game. As players roll the dice to determine their next move, they must strategically navigate the topographic board to find the gold before their opponent does. With 91 gold markers up for grabs, the competition is fierce. But here's the catch - if all the gold is found in a particular area, the player who found it first can block their opponent from claiming it, adding a fun element of sabotage to the game. With a playtime of just 30 minutes, Chinagold is the perfect game for a quick showdown with a friend. Will you be the one to strike gold and emerge victorious, or will your opponent outmaneuver you? There's only one way to find out - gather a friend and start playing Chinagold today.
