Description

Claustrophobia: De Profundis is an exciting expansion to the original Claustrophobia game, designed by Croc. Released in 2011, this expansion adds a wealth of new components and choices to the game, without overwhelming players with complex new rules. With a playtime of just 45 minutes, it's perfect for a quick but thrilling adventure with a friend, as it's designed for 2 players. The game mechanics, including dice rolling, modular board, and variable player powers, will be familiar to fans of the original game, and the normal complexity level means that experienced board gamers will have no trouble diving right in. The new components in De Profundis really enhance the gameplay experience, with a 52-card deck featuring new talents, demons, events, and objects, as well as ten new room tiles with six new types of rooms to explore. The addition of four painted figures, new markers, and twelve new scenarios with varying playtimes, means that players will have plenty of opportunities to try out different strategies and approaches. The tweaks to the rules, such as the reduced demon player hand size and permanent Siccaria skills, add a fresh layer of depth to the game, making it a must-have for fans of the original Claustrophobia. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or just looking for a new challenge, Claustrophobia: De Profundis is a great way to experience the thrill of the game in a new and exciting way.
