Description

In the medieval north of Italy, powerful cities known as Comuni thrived, each with its own unique character and strengths. In Comuni, you'll take on the role of a city ruler, aiming to increase your city's wealth by building structures that drive economic, military, cultural, and religious growth. You'll need to acquire project cards through a bidding system, which can be transformed into buildings and protection walls, giving you different resources and advantages. As you build and grow, be aware of the looming threat of invasion, which will test your city's defenses. You can choose to collaborate with other players to defeat the invaders, or go it alone. With four types of buildings to construct and limited resources, you'll need to plan your strategy carefully to succeed. The game ends after four invasions, and the player who has best managed their city's growth and defenses will emerge victorious.
