Description

In Corvids, you'll become a bird with a fascination for collecting small treasures, and you'll need to use your wits and dexterity to get them. This fast-paced game, designed by Jasper Beatrix and published in 2024, is all about flipping and moving cards to find the objects you want, while also trying to cover up your opponents' cards and steal their treasures. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, 2 to 5 players can jump into the game and start playing in no time, with each playthrough lasting around 20 to 30 minutes. As you play, you'll use your fingers or the provided 'beak' tweezers to flip and move cards, trying to uncover the nests of other birds and learn their goals. But be careful, because they can do the same to you. With abilities and combo effects on most cards, the game can get chaotic and exciting, especially as the pile of cards dwindles and players start to steal from each other. With the right combination of strategy and luck, you can outmaneuver your opponents and collect the most points, earning bonus points for the type of bird you're playing as. So get ready to unleash your inner birdbrain and peck your way to victory in Corvids, a fun and engaging game that's all about collecting the shiniest treasures and outsmarting your opponents.
