Description

In Couperation, players work together to build a card pyramid seven layers high, with a unique set of rules to keep things interesting. The game is easy to learn, making it accessible to new players, and with a playtime of just 15 minutes, you can fit in a quick game with friends or family. Designed by Yusuke Sawaguchi and published in 2018, Couperation is a cooperative game that challenges 2 to 4 players to manage their hands and build patterns to achieve their goal. Each player starts with a hand of three cards, and on their turn, they draw a variable number of cards from the deck, depending on the previous turn's play. As players build the pyramid, they must follow specific rules for card placement, with values escalating from left to right within each row. Cards can be played face up or face down, with face-down cards ignoring the value restrictions. Players can also discard cards to the reserve and draw a new card based on the sum or difference of the discarded cards. The ultimate goal is to create a seven-layer tower with all cards face up, and with the optional Finish card, the game adds an extra level of challenge and excitement. With its unique blend of cooperative gameplay, hand management, and pattern building, Couperation is a fun and engaging game that's perfect for a quick gaming session with friends or family.
