Description

In Crimson Company: Ragnarok, the stakes are higher than ever as you assemble your army of sellswords to conquer castles and outmaneuver your opponents. This expansion adds a fresh layer of excitement to the game, introducing viking-themed characters, including powerful "norse god" cards that shake up the battlefield with their unique rules and twists. With the ability to play solo or with up to four players, you can embark on a thrilling adventure that's full of surprises, whether you're flying solo or competing against friends. The gameplay is easy to learn, but that doesn't mean it's lacking in depth or strategy. You'll need to use your wits to outbid and outmaneuver your opponents, all while navigating the complex web of character abilities and effects. Each card represents a unique character, from hardened warriors to mythical creatures, and mastering their strengths and weaknesses is key to victory. As you bid on cards and assemble your army, you'll need to keep a close eye on your opponents' moves, anticipating their strategies and adapting yours on the fly. With playtime ranging from 10 to 45 minutes, you can dive into a quick skirmish or a longer, more epic battle, depending on your mood. As an expansion to the original Crimson Company game, Ragnarok builds on the core mechanics of auctioning, bidding, and card drafting, adding a new layer of excitement and challenge to the mix. The "passive" keyword introduced in this expansion adds a new level of strategy, as you'll need to consider how these powerful cards will affect the battlefield when they're in play. With its richly detailed world and complex gameplay, Crimson Company: Ragnarok is the perfect choice for fans of fantasy and mythology, or anyone looking for a game that's both fun and intellectually stimulating.
