Description

Crystal Clans: Gem Clan is a thrilling expansion that brings a new level of depth to the world of Crystal Clans. As a 2-player game, you'll be facing off against your opponent in a battle of wits and strategy, with each match lasting around 30 to 60 minutes. The rules are straightforward, making it easy for board game enthusiasts to dive right in, and the normal complexity level means you can focus on having fun rather than getting bogged down in complicated gameplay. As you play, you'll guide your Gem Clan to victory by claiming crystals and leveraging their unique abilities. The Crystal Seekers are a game-changer, allowing you to reduce the cost of crystals and snag the ones you need to dominate the game. Meanwhile, the Ruby Dancers are the ultimate defenders, with their strength increasing for each crystal your opponent has scored. But the real kicker is the Gem Clan's special ability, Crystal Force, which gives you a power boost for each crystal in any score area. This means that the more crystals you collect, the stronger you'll become, setting you up for a crushing victory. Published in 2019 by a team of talented designers, including Colby Dauch, J. Arthur Ellis, and Andrea Mezzotero, Crystal Clans: Gem Clan is an expertly crafted expansion that's all about hand management and clever card play. As an expansion for the base game Crystal Clans, it adds a fresh layer of excitement and challenge to the original, making it a must-have for fans of the series. With its unique blend of strategy and luck, Crystal Clans: Gem Clan is the perfect way to shake up your game nights and experience the thrill of competition in a whole new way.
