Curiosity

Friends and Communities with Curiosity

Description

In Curiosity, you'll embark on a thrilling adventure of space exploration, navigating the alien landscape in search of valuable mineral deposits. As a player, you're part of a space agency, but don't expect to play by the rules - you're in it for yourself, looking to uncover the most coveted treasures and outdo your fellow players. With a simple set of rules that can be picked up in no time, you'll be diving into the action in just 30 minutes, competing with up to three other players to claim the most prized locations. As you move your piece across the grid, you'll have to make tactical decisions about where to send commands to Curiosity, the trusty spacecraft that's scanning the terrain for signs of mineral deposits. But watch out for remnants of old, failed missions littering the landscape - you'll want to avoid drawing attention to those. At the end of each round, only a limited number of commands will be processed by Curiosity, adding an extra layer of strategy to your gameplay. And when Curiosity stumbles upon study objects, they'll be revealed for all to see, giving you a glimpse into what your opponents are up to. With its unique blend of grid movement, hand management, and programmed movement, Curiosity offers a fresh take on space exploration games. Designed by Eloi Pujadas and Eugeni Castaño, this 2024 release is all about balancing risk and reward as you explore the unknown. Will you focus on uncovering the most valuable mineral deposits, or will you try to sabotage your opponents' efforts? With its quick playtime and simple rules, Curiosity is the perfect game for anyone looking to blast off into a fun, competitive experience with friends and family.
