Description

If you're already hooked on the Dark Horse base game, get ready to take your gameplay experience to the next level with the Dark Horse: 5 Player Expansion. This expansion pack is designed to breathe new life into the original game by introducing a fifth player to the mix, and it's incredibly easy to get started. The rules are straightforward and can be explained quickly, so you can dive right into the action. With the addition of a new player, the game length does increase to around 90 to 120 minutes, but trust us, it's worth it. The gameplay itself is just as engaging as the original, with a mix of dice rolling, network and route building, and worker placement that requires strategic thinking and a bit of luck. Set against the backdrop of the American West, you'll be building territories and competing with your fellow players to come out on top. The expansion comes with a rules card that explains how to integrate the new player and even offers a variant to help balance out the longer gameplay. Don Lloyd, the game designer, has done a great job of crafting an expansion that enhances the original game without overwhelming new players. With the Dark Horse: 5 Player Expansion, you'll experience all the excitement of the base game, but with the added challenge and camaraderie of an extra player. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or just looking for a fun way to spend time with friends, this expansion is a great way to mix things up and keep the game feeling fresh. Released in 2014, this expansion has been a hit with fans of the original game, and it's easy to see why. So gather your friends, grab some dice, and get ready to ride off into the wild west with the Dark Horse: 5 Player Expansion.
