Description

Dark Omen is a thrilling adventure board game designed for 2 to 4 players, where you'll embark on a journey through a lost Nordic time, making strategic decisions, managing resources, battling epic foes, and solving puzzles. With a playtime of 120 to 720 minutes, you'll have ample opportunity to become fully immersed in the game's world, and while the rules may take some time to learn, the complexity is well worth the investment. Published in 2024, Dark Omen brings together a unique blend of game mechanics, including action points, cooperative gameplay, dice rolling, and scenario-based missions, to create an experience that's both challenging and rewarding. As you navigate the game's dynamic world, you'll encounter a variety of obstacles and challenges, from moving layers on the board that change the game state, to the innovative Rune Throw system, which introduces random elements and requires you to adapt your strategy on the fly. With each player having 6 action points per turn, you'll need to carefully manage your resources and make tactical decisions to succeed. The game's win and lose conditions are clearly defined, with the goal of completing all 4 chapters and 20-24 Omens without succumbing to the Darkness. Will you be able to hold the Darkness at bay and emerge victorious, or will you fall prey to its power? With Dark Omen, every playthrough is a new and exciting adventure, full of unexpected twists and turns.
