Description

Die Wilden Kerle: Tor is a fast-paced and exciting soccer-themed card game that's all about outmaneuvering your opponent. Designed by Reiner Knizia and Jan Birck, this 2012 game is a reimplementation of Knizia's earlier game Tor, but with some key differences that set it apart. Each player has their own deck of 15 cards, featuring two sets of cards valued 2-7, a "Tor" card that acts as a goalkeeper, and a "0" card that can surprisingly beat a "7". The gameplay is simple to learn, but with a simultaneous action selection mechanic, you'll need to think strategically to come out on top. With a playtime of just 20 minutes, Die Wilden Kerle: Tor is the perfect game for a quick showdown with a friend. The simultaneous action selection mechanic adds an element of suspense, as you and your opponent secretly choose your cards and then reveal them to determine who wins the duel. The ball moves back and forth on the play field until one player scores, and with the special powers of certain cards, such as the "5" card that flips the usual rules, you'll need to stay on your toes to emerge victorious. Whether you're a soccer fan or just looking for a fun and competitive card game, Die Wilden Kerle: Tor is a great choice for two players looking for a thrilling matchup.
