Description
Dino Dig: Risky Sites is a thrilling set collection game where 2 to 5 players take on the role of paleontologists, racing to uncover the most valuable dinosaur fossils in a scorpion-infested desert. With easy-to-learn rules, this 2019 game designed by Amelie Le-Roche is perfect for a quick game night with friends, lasting around 15 to 30 minutes. Each player starts with a toolbox full of helpful equipment, which they can use to guide them through the dig sites. The goal is to collect the most complete fossils, but beware - scorpions lurk in the dirt, and players must weigh the risks and rewards of each dig. As players take turns moving, digging, and using their tools, the excitement builds. With two actions per turn, players can move through the 5x5 grid of dirt cards, dig up fossils, or play a tool card to get an edge. The game ends when a set number of dig sites have been emptied, and players tally up their scores. The more complete the fossil, the more points it's worth - but those scorpions can quickly turn a promising dig into a disaster. Will you play it safe and aim for smaller fossils, or take a risk and go for the big finds? In Dino Dig: Risky Sites, the best paleontologist will be the one who strikes the perfect balance between risk and reward.
