Description

In Don Carlo, you're the trusted advisor to a powerful family, seeking to spread your influence across Absurdistan and its neighboring countries. With simple yet strategic gameplay, you'll combine numbered cards to send agents to these regions, outmaneuvering your opponents to gain the upper hand. The twist is that the total of the numbers on your cards determines where your agents will travel, making each move a clever puzzle to solve. As the first to claim a spot, you'll set the stage for a high-stakes game of area control, where the more agents you have in a country, the more points you'll score. With 2 to 4 players competing for dominance, Don Carlo is a 30-minute game of hand management and area majority, designed by the renowned team of Wolfgang Kramer, Bernhard Lach, and Uwe Rapp. Published in 2020, this base game is easy to learn, but challenging to master, making it perfect for casual gamers and seasoned strategists alike. As you navigate the intricate web of alliances and rivalries, you'll need to think creatively to outwit your opponents and emerge victorious. With its unique blend of simplicity and depth, Don Carlo is a thrilling card game that will keep you on the edge of your seat, eager to play again and again.
