Description

Get ready to set sail for adventure with Doodle Islands, a thrilling "Roll and Write" game for 1 to 5 players. Published in 2018 by designers Kristian Amundsen Østby and Eilif Svensson, this game is all about becoming the richest pirate on the high seas. You'll take on the role of an ambitious ship captain, navigating through a grid-based archipelago filled with treasure islands, monsters, ships, rocks, and taverns. With a playtime of just 40 minutes and easy-to-learn rules, you can dive right into the action. As you roll the dice, you'll draw lines to connect different parts of the grid, trying to link up sea monsters, islands, and pirate ships to earn points. But watch out - if you're forced to cross a rum bottle, you might lose some points at the end of the game. The goal is to become the Pirate Queen or King by scoring the most points, either by connecting monsters and islands or by collecting pirate ships. With its unique blend of dice rolling, line drawing, and paper-and-pencil gameplay, Doodle Islands is a fun and exciting challenge for players of all ages. So gather your crew and get ready to chart your course for treasure and glory.
