Description

Get ready for a thrilling game of modern warfare with Drive on Frankfurt, a classic board game from 1987 designed by Jon Southard. In this immersive game, two players take on the roles of NATO and Soviet forces, battling it out in West Germany. With a playtime of 120 minutes, you'll be fully engaged in the action, using dice rolling and strategic planning to outmaneuver your opponent on the hexagon grid. The game's normal complexity makes it accessible to board game enthusiasts, and the simulation mechanics will keep you on the edge of your seat. As you navigate the 22" x 34" map, you'll be vying for control of urban and town centers, while also trying to minimize your unit losses. The game's unique twist is the option to "go nuclear" - if you're feeling hopeless, you can overturn the table and forfeit the game in a dramatic fashion. With a game scale that spans 12-hour turns and 2.4-mile hexes, you'll need to think strategically about your battalion and regiment movements. Will you emerge victorious, or will your opponent outmaneuver you? With Drive on Frankfurt, you'll experience the thrill of modern warfare in a game that's both challenging and entertaining.
