Description

Dunk Jam is a fast-paced basketball game for two players that's all about quick thinking and skill. Published in 2003, this game is part of the Aeronaut series from Grapac Japan, known for their speedy gameplay and clever design. In Dunk Jam, you'll choose three players from five available types to form your team, each with their own strengths and bonuses. You'll take turns playing offense, trying to outmaneuver your opponent and get a shot off within three turns. The closer you are to the basket, the easier the shot - but your opponent will be doing their best to block, steal, or intercept the ball. The game really comes alive with its unique shot resolution mechanics. You can either roll a twelve-sided die, with longer shots being tougher, or try your hand at a dexterity shot. This involves flicking a basketball up a slightly angled board, trying to get it in the basket - the farther away you are, the harder the shot. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of just 20 minutes, Dunk Jam is the perfect game for a quick showdown with a friend. The game's compact design, with all components attached to a ring-binder, makes it easy to take on the go and play wherever you want. Whether you're a basketball fan or just looking for a fun, action-packed game, Dunk Jam is a slam dunk.
