Description

A mysterious and deadly disease is spreading rapidly across the globe, leaving a trail of devastation in its wake. With a mortality rate of 100%, the situation is dire, and it's up to you to lead a team of specialists in a desperate bid to find a cure. In Epidemic, you'll embark on a thrilling solo adventure, navigating a complex web of action cards that can either hinder or help your progress. The twist is that the strength of each card's effect depends on its order, making every decision a high-stakes gamble. As you delve deeper into the game, you'll need to balance your research efforts with the need to travel the world and heal the infected, all while staying one step ahead of the mutating disease. With its unique action point and action queue mechanics, Epidemic offers a challenging and immersive experience that's easy to learn but tough to master. Designed by Marek Kolcun and published in 2018, this print-and-play game has already made a name for itself, finishing in the top 10 of the 2019 9-card nanogame print and play design contest in multiple categories. With its compact 10-20 minute playtime, Epidemic is the perfect game for solo players looking for a quick but intense challenge. Will you be able to find the cure and save humanity, or will the disease prove too powerful to overcome?
