Evergreen

Friends and Communities with Evergreen

Description

Get ready to strike a chord with Evergreen, a unique card game that combines commodity speculation with a musical twist. Designed by the renowned duo Michael Kiesling and Wolfgang Kramer, this game has been entertaining players since its release in 1999. In Evergreen, 2 to 6 players take on the role of concert promoters, competing to put on the most valuable shows. The game features a clever mechanic where players use numbered cards to gain control of famous singers, represented by old-fashioned 45s with rotating discs that display values from 5 to 12. As players transfer control of singers from one to another, the disc rotates, causing the value to fluctuate wildly. The goal is to seize control of a singer at their peak value or strategically pass them to other players to devalue them. The game reaches its crescendo when players decide to put on concerts, with the option to host a gala show that doubles the value. With its easy-to-learn rules and playtime of just 20 to 30 minutes, Evergreen is the perfect game for a fun and fast-paced evening with friends. The added pressure of a sand-timer ensures that players must think quickly and make tactical decisions to come out on top. Whether you're a music lover or a fan of strategic card games, Evergreen is sure to hit the right note.
