Description

Expedition Altiplano is an exciting adventure game designed for two players, where you and your opponent take on the roles of treasure hunters exploring ancient Inca ruins. The goal is to be the first to find the rarest relics, but to do that, you'll need to assemble a top-notch exploration team. This is where the game gets really interesting, as you'll be drafting cards from a central pile to recruit archaeologists and soldiers of fortune to join your expedition. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of just 30 minutes, Expedition Altiplano is the perfect game for a quick but thrilling competition. As you build your team, you'll need to manage your cards carefully, using hand management skills to make the most of your recruits. But beware - your opponent is trying to do the same, and they might just try to poach your staff members or sabotage your efforts. That's where the "take that" mechanic comes in, allowing you to disrupt your opponent's plans and gain an advantage. You can even salvage a staffer from deadly traps, adding an extra layer of strategy to the game. With its unique blend of card drafting, hand management, and tactical sabotage, Expedition Altiplano is a game that will keep you on your toes from start to finish. Designed by Christian Martinez and first published in 2006, Expedition Altiplano is a classic adventure game that's all about exploration, strategy, and a little bit of luck.
