Description

Exploration: Warzone is a fast-paced space battle game where 2 to 3 players take control of unique spaceships, each with its own set of skills. Published in 2022 by designer Damian Korus, this game is all about anticipating your opponent's next move and making strategic decisions to outmaneuver them. With a playtime of just 5 to 15 minutes, it's the perfect filler game to get your heart racing and your mind thinking. The simple rules can be explained quickly, but don't let that fool you - the game is full of depth and complexity, with multiple paths to victory. As you jump into the warzone, you'll need to build your deck of hex cards, including action cards, war cards, and relics, and utilize them in one of 9 possible actions. You'll have to manage 4 resources to expand your hand, creating a microeconomics system that adds a layer of strategy to the game. With the ability to destroy opponent spaceships, collect relic cards, or earn victory points, you'll need to stay on your toes and adapt to the ever-changing battlefield. The game's unique blend of deck, bag, and pool building, card drafting, and rock-paper-scissors mechanics makes for a thrilling experience that's different every time. Will you emerge victorious and claim dominance in the warzone? There's only one way to find out.
