Expressions

Friends and Communities with Expressions

Description

Get ready to dive into the world of emotions with Expressions, a cooperative card game designed by Isaac Meyer that's perfect for 2 to 5 players. This quick-playing game, released in 2024, can be learned in no time thanks to its simple rules, and games typically last between 5 to 20 minutes. In Expressions, you'll work together with your friends to maintain emotional balance by guessing the cards in each other's hands, which is no easy feat given the communication limits that come with playing the game. As you navigate the emotional rollercoaster, you'll use multi-use cards in one of four orientations to provide clues about your hand without actually talking about the cards you're holding. Playing cards to give hints will increase your agony, while correctly guessing your friends' emotions will earn you harmony. With five emotion-themed suits of cards - anger, sadness, joy, fear, and disgust - you'll need to use deduction to figure out what's going on in your friends' hands. Will your team be able to overcome the challenges and emerge victorious, or will agony get the better of you? With its unique blend of cooperative gameplay, deduction, and communication limits, Expressions is a party game like no other, promising a fun and engaging experience for all players involved.
