In Fake Art Inc, you and your friends take on the roles of expert brokers trying to make a profit in a market flooded with potentially fake masterpieces from famous painters. The game is all about collecting and distributing these artworks, but with a twist - you need to increase the emotional value of the art in your collection while disrupting the market by dropping the appraisal value of other players' art. This is a game of negotiation and strategy, where timing is everything and even an artwork of no value can be sold at a high price to another broker with the right move. The gameplay is easy to learn, with each turn starting with a bidding process to decide the turn order. On their turn, players can either trade their hand with others or set up an auction by placing their cards face down on a space between players. The price of the art is determined by the number and location of "genuine" and "fake" cards that have been placed down, and players can change the selling price by replacing existing cards. With 3 to 5 players and a playtime of just 30 minutes, Fake Art Inc is a quick and fun party game that's perfect for a night in with friends.
