Description

Fallschirmjaeger: The Airborne Assault on Fortress Holland drops you into the midst of World War II, where you'll experience the intense German airborne operation that took place from May 10 to 14, 1940. In this game, you'll take on the role of either the German player, tasked with holding off the Dutch forces until relieved by advancing ground troops, or the Dutch player, fighting to defend your homeland against the invading paratroopers. With a playtime of 120 to 6000 minutes, you can expect a deeply immersive and challenging experience, especially considering the game's normal complexity level. As you navigate the hexagon grid, using dice rolling and simulation mechanics to guide your decisions, you'll feel the weight of history on your shoulders. The game's designers, Dean Essig and Alan Wambold, have crafted a meticulous simulation that draws on original Dutch records to recreate the battle in stunning detail. With support for 1 to 4 players, you can gather friends to join the fight or take on the challenge solo. Whether you're a seasoned board game enthusiast or just looking for a new adventure, Fallschirmjaeger: The Airborne Assault on Fortress Holland promises to deliver an unforgettable experience that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
