Friends and Communities with Fisheries of Gloucester

Description

The historic port city of Gloucester is calling your name, and it's time to set sail for a fishing adventure like no other. In Fisheries of Gloucester, you and your opponent will embark on a thrilling journey to become the ultimate fishing champion. This 2023 release, designed by Steve Finn and Julián Tunni, is a game of strategy and skill that's easy to learn but challenging to master. With a playtime of just 30 to 45 minutes, you can dive into the world of 19th century New England fishing in no time. As you navigate the ocean, you'll have six "days" to gather your crew, chart your course, and catch as many fish as possible. With a fleet of three boats at your disposal, you'll need to outmaneuver your opponent to reach the best fishing spots. The game is all about making the most of your time, as you'll have a limited number of hours to perform actions like sailing and catching fish. With points awarded for catching different varieties of fish and finishing the game on one of the islands, you'll need to stay focused and adapt to the changing tides of the game. Will you answer the call of the sea and become the champion of Gloucester's fisheries? There's only one way to find out.
