Description

Floriado is a simple yet strategic board game designed by Corné van Moorsel, perfect for two players looking for a quick and engaging experience. With a playtime of just 20 minutes, you can easily fit in a game or two, and the easy-to-learn rules make it accessible to new players. The game is all about collecting sets of flower cards, with the goal of scoring big by gathering large collections of one color. The twist is that each collected card must show fewer flowers than the last one of the same color, adding a fun layer of strategy to the game. As you move your pawn across the 5x8 grid, you'll need to think carefully about which cards to collect and when, following the rules of never moving backwards but being able to turn 90 degrees before making your next move. With 40 cards to choose from, featuring five different colors and varying numbers of flowers, there are plenty of opportunities to outmaneuver your opponent and build up your sets. Whether you're playing against a friend or testing your skills against the AI online, Floriado is a great choice for anyone looking for a fun and challenging abstract strategy game that's easy to learn but hard to master.
