Focus

Friends and Communities with Focus

Description

Get ready to put your communication skills to the test with Focus, a cooperative deduction game designed by Antonin Boccara and Romaric Galonnier. In this quick 15-minute game for two players, you'll work together to guess each other's secret picture among a grid of illustrations. The catch is that you can't just tell each other what you're thinking - you have to use the cards to give subtle clues about your own secret picture, hoping your partner will pick up on them. As you take turns removing cards from the grid, you'll need to think carefully about which ones to choose. If you remove your partner's secret card, the game is lost, so it's a delicate balance between giving good clues and avoiding disaster. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, Focus is accessible to beginners, but it also offers a fun challenge for experienced gamers. Whether you're playing with a friend or family member, Focus is a great way to exercise your communication skills and have a blast doing it. With its unique blend of cooperation and deduction, this 2023 release is a great addition to any game night, and its short playtime means you can fit in multiple rounds in no time.
